- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- Add-ins:
- 15 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips (optional but recommended)
Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
Add Eggs & Vanilla: Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
Combine Wet & Dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Mix until just combined — don’t overmix.
Add Oreos & Chocolate Chips: Fold in chopped Oreo cookies and white chocolate chips with a spatula.
Scoop & Bake: Scoop dough (about 1.5 to 2 tbsp each) onto prepared baking sheets. Space them 2 inches apart.
Bake: Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers are soft. Don’t overbake!
